STUDIOs
Lucy Hersey - Studio 1
Lucy is the director of On Clarence, and is also a painter. Sustainability, and a connection to nature is central to her practice, as she collects natural materials, mainly clays and earth, to mix her own earth pigment based paints. The landscape informs her paintings, and is primarily the subject, from rolling Gippsland hills, and expansive skies, to intimate gullies and secret streams.

GREER ARNOTT - STUDIO 2
Greer Arnott is one of our On Clarence studio artists, proficient in many mediums - but with a focus in functional and sculptural ceramics.
Greer’s journey with ceramics began at the age of 14 undertaking her first community ceramic classes. The natural world is a driving inspiration in Greer’s life and is forever present in all form of her art, informed by her degree in Environmental Education from Latrobe University.
Greer’s steady productive presence has been a welcome addition to the On Clarence collective in recent months, offering warmth, insight and friendship to all our activities. Her professionalism and balanced approach to life and making is a wonderful relief and reassurance, and the studios always feel complete when she is at work.
